Ysreal
The story was realistically harsh. I think the story was based around the character Rafa even though his little brother narrated it. It followed Rafa's every move until the cruel end. It must be terribly hard for Rafa and his family but nowhere near as hard as it was for Ysreal. The cold truth is that you have to be tough growing up in a place like that, Rafa was tough and normally a persons cruelness is not there fault but the way that they were raised. In this case Rafa's younger brother was kind hearted or at least young enough to be Innocent, but I'm sure enough time with his brother will change that. The detail in the story was incredible i think my favorite part is when Rafa walks of into the woods to meet a girl and after a while you can only see is a blur of the color of his shirt through the leaves. That imagery stood out to me most because in my mind i could picture it perfectly even the silhouette of the leaves with a light coming in from behind Rafa. I'm also sad to say that i think Rafa is right and that American doctors will not help Ysreal and even if they do he will be scarred for life, stupid pig. The end made me cringe a little bit, but if the story kept going i would see karma taking a toll on Rafa and things only getting better for Ysreal.
